Honolulu seeking to ban ‘BO’ on buses (AP)

AP - Stinky city bus riders soon could get soaked. The Honolulu City Council is considering a bill that would impose up to a $500 fine and/or up to six months in jail for public transit passengers convicted of being too smelly.

Connecticut woman arrested 3 times in a day (AP)

AP - A 29-year-old woman has a court date next week to face charges stemming from her arrest Saturday, her other arrest Saturday, and her third arrest on Saturday. Police charged Leytza Martinez with assault after an altercation with a manager at the hair salon where she worked. She was arrested again later Saturday and charged with coming back to the salon and stealing more than $900 in supplies and some customer information.

AP - The grocery store camera caught the woman putting a 24-can case of beer between her thighs, pulling her dress back down and shuffling out of the store. But it took a while to identify and find her.

Ohio judge silences defendant with duct tape (AP)

AP - An Ohio judge unhappy with repeated interruptions from a robbery suspect ordered a deputy to put duct tape over the defendant's mouth. Canton Municipal Court Judge Stephen Belden says the taping last Thursday was the best way to restore order at a hearing for 51-year-old Harry Brown of Canton.

Pantless man accused of harassing neighbor’s horse (AP)

AP - A man who apparently wasn't wearing pants has been accused of harassing a neighbor's horse. The Tri-City Herald reported the horse's owner spotted a bald man without any pants chasing the horse about 3:30 a.m. Friday in a corral. Benton County sheriff's deputies identified a 26-year-old man, who lives next door, as the suspect and he was jailed for investigation of trespassing.

Man says he robbed bank to get away from wife (AP)

AP - A central Pennsylvania man said he robbed a bank in 2007 to go to jail and get away from his overbearing wife. At a sentencing hearing Monday, 39-year-old Anthony Miller said he robbed a bank in Ephrata because he wanted to leave his then-wife but she had threatened to commit suicide if he did.
