Respect Yourself
My 13-year old son had started at one of the most prestigious private schools in the nation – an honor that we were paying $20,000 a year for and at a school that had 100 applications for each spot! When he came home the second month with a horrified look on his face, telling me that he’d done something awful, I was more than a little concerned. He explained that, as a prank, he had given a boy’s locker combination to someone else. That person had opened the locker, and trashed all the books and belongings inside. He didn’t know what to do, so he asked for my advice.
Here’s what I guided him to do: He called the boy whose locker was trashed, told him that he was responsible, and that he would do whatever it took to make things right. He called the boy’s parents, told them he was sorry and would do whatever it took to make things right. Even though the mother was yelling at him and calling him names, I stood by his side, and he continued to apologize. The next morning, he went to the Dean’s office before his first class, told the Dean what he had done, and said he would do whatever it took to make things right.
This was one of the most terrifying moments of my son’s life up until that time. I can remember the look of horror on his face as the mother cursed him and called him names. I also remember that he was able to stand up tall, with dignity and with self-esteem, as he went to school the next morning to talk with the Dean. He felt good about himself, not because he had made a mistake (as everyone is going to do in life!), but because he had the courage to stand up and admit it. He had the integrity to take responsibility for his actions and the inner strength to do whatever it took to make things right.
Now, you may be wondering what happened in all of this. My son had to pay for a new lock for the boy’s locker. The Dean called me to tell me he had never in his entire career seen a student carry himself with such dignity and such integrity. He was truly impressed and thanked me for the guidance I’d given him, and for raising such an incredible son with clear values.
The boy whose locker had been trashed barely talked to my son for four years. And yet, when they were graduating from high school and went to their elementary school reunion, it was as if nothing had ever happened. Yes, it took some time for the wounds to heal, but in the end everything turned out fine.
What happened to the boy who actually opened the locker and trashed it? He refused to apologize and his parents refused to make him apologize. He was put on detention for weeks and was asked to leave the school at the end of the year.
We all make mistakes, some of them are big ones, some of them are small. My son made a mistake, and in the process got to learn a very valuable lesson.
Honesty is always the best policy. Taking responsibility for what you say and do is essential if you want to feel good about yourself. It’s important to be willing to go to any length to make things right when you breach your integrity. It may not be easy. It may feel crummy and uncomfortable. You may get yelled at. In the end, though, you’ll be able to walk with your head held high, you will be able to go to sleep in peace at night, and you will be respected.
Most important, you will respect yourself. That may be the greatest gift of all.

You Choose to React or Respond
By: Daniel Sitter
Choices abound. Sometimes choices confound us, while at other times, certain choices are rather obvious. Any way you approach the subject, choices present opportunities to either excel or hinder. As human beings, we were endowed by our Creator with the power of choice. It is one of the factors that differentiate persons from animals. Some people make these choices or decisions more easily than others.
Each day, we must decide how we will spend our precious twenty four hours and deal with all that the world presents to us. We choose how we will be affected by both everyday occurrences and those that are much more extraordinary. Whether consciously or unconsciously, we choose to either react or respond. These are not the same, for one is negative and one is positive. Which we choose may have a significant impact on our life and possibly those close to us.
Reacting to outside influences, usually beyond our control is generally a negative choice. Reacting implies that we have given charge of the situation to someone or something else. We surrender our input and any control in the matter. We are now at the mercy of the situation and are forced to be in reaction mode where we are constantly dodging bullets and expending great amounts of energy just to stay afloat. In reacting to a situation, we do not anticipate that which is to come because we are too busy handling the present. The future then surprises us and the whole mess begins again.
Responding to a situation is a positive choice. It is the opposite of reacting. It is proactive and anticipates that which is yet to come. Responding is preceded by thought and often prayer. In responding, we take charge and have command over how the situation impacts us. We also have control over how it affects us internally. We decide upon the level of personal impact.
Our lives, families, careers and other everyday activities and interests are operating at breakneck speeds and appear at times to be accelerating. One thing is for certain, the old days of sitting around on the front porch each evening listening to Mother Nature are gone for many of us. The pace of life in Mayberry, as healthy and tranquil as it would appear, is unfortunately a thing of the past. We live life on the fast track.
A major news weekly magazine is currently featuring material devoted to stress and distress in our lives and their effects on our cardiovascular health. Although not totally surprising, this information is disturbing. How did we ever get to this point? Witness the number of television commercials and magazine advertisements for gastric distress, acid reflux, anxiety, depression, headaches and other ailments that are increasing in frequency. There are millions of prescriptions written each day for these medical conditions, most of which will find their roots in internalized stress and distress.
People spend many hours of their lives worrying. Worry is a senseless, energy robbing activity that has engulfed many. No one has ever benefited from worry, yet countless people engage in it. Worry is the opposite of faith. Worry is negative while faith is positive. There is no mystery here. Many books have been written on the subject. The conclusions are the same: “Don’t Worry, Be Happy” and “Stop Worrying and Start Living” are among the many themes presented. Good advice indeed.
Most areas of life present us with choices. We must choose either to respond or react to circumstances. We choose whether or not to worry. Learn to be aware that you have a choice in these matters. Learn that there are ways that you can deal with everything either positively or negatively. Learn that your choices may influence your very health, both physical and mental. Learn that there will be costs associated with poor choices, worrying and negativity in general. These may include social, monetary, peace of mind and time costs. Certainly, the total cost associated with negative choices is too high.
Learn that positively responding to circumstances in life will significantly reduce or eliminate worry and contribute to your overall good health and well being. Find joy in life. Be happy.

Self Improvement – Journey of Discovery
“The way you think, not only affects your own life, but others around you – it affects your world. You have the power to change the world you live in.” – White Star
So who, you may ask, is White Star?
On face value, White Star is a character in the series of books The Blue Star Millennium and Quest for Genesis. Many readers, after viewing these books, have invariably asked the question “were these books channeled?”
Of course, that query begs another question, “What is channeling?”
Well, there are various possibilities, including the Channel being a vehicle for another entity to speak through them, or simply verbalizing their own subconscious thoughts. Hmmm, subconscious… Yes! But what about the super-conscious?
“There are several parts of your Essence living simultaneous lives. A part of you will always remain in the higher realms. This is your Higher Self, which is a spark of the Essence that permeates all of creation, and which is the Creator. You are all Sons and Daughters of this Essence, Co-creators of all that you see and experience.”
Okay, from this point of view, isn’t it possible that we are ALL capable of channeling these higher wisdoms? After all, isn’t it just tapping into the higher force, the fountain of wisdom of which we are all a part? So why do so many of us choose to go to others to hear the messages?
Admittedly, in times of emotional trauma it’s often comforting to go to others for guidance. Such experiences, perhaps, could be viewed as valuable stepping stones that eventually lead to the question “Are they any more capable of tapping into the source than you are?”
“Every individual has the potential to heal the planet and to help unify the people in co-operation and understanding. Every individual has the power of creative visualization. Each of you has the potential to use your power of thought to bring about change in your own environment. There is power in numbers and the more people who project positive thought-forms at the same time, the more powerful the effect. Now the future is in your hands. Put a little effort into creating the future that you desire, and you will achieve miraculous rewards. It is up to you!”
In that case, you may ask, why do we limit ourselves by incarnating on this physical plane at all? It is as though we have temporary amnesia of our true origins – our true divinity.
“You are on a wondrous journey of self-discovery. From the moment you separated from the Source you chose to go through certain experiences in order to learn and develop through these trials. It is not wise to seek the end of the journey prematurely. There is much to be gained along the way. Become engrossed in the excitement of your quest and you will suddenly realise that you are a Co-Creator in the Divine Plan. You create your own reality. You re-affirm your reality through your beliefs. If you dwell on the negative, you will manifest that negativity in your life. Similarly, if you concentrate on the positive, you re-affirm that reality, in your personal life, and throughout the universe.”
So is it all positive, love and light? You would be right in pointing out that there seems to be so much negativity in the world. How does this equate with the above metaphysics philosophy statements? Hmmm … perhaps we should ask the White Star.
“Each of us has a negative aspect of ourselves, although most of us would prefer not to acknowledge that darker side. The darker side can be so powerful as to form its own identity. We keep it alive through feeding it on a constant diet of negative thoughts and emotions. It can reach a stage where it will fight for its very survival, as a separate entity. If its existence is threatened, the Dark Side will come out from the shadows to confront us. It will try and destroy us if we allow it to do so.”
Whew! Okay, so if we’re honest with ourselves, we all have the potential for the destructive negative side of our nature to gain the upper hand. If this happens, how do we conquer that negative aspect?
“You cannot fight your negative side. The more you deny it, the more you empower it. The ultimate test is to accept and recognize the negative aspect of your Being. As long as you deny it, it will have power over you. When you accept it, you love it into submission. By merging with it, you transform it.”
So why, I hear many of you ask, would we come to the Earth in the first place. Why come to a world where duality exists, where positive and negative forces are in perpetual conflict?
“The physical plane holds the greatest lessons. It is the ultimate testing ground. When trapped in the physical form, you are forced to confront your main obstacles to spiritual development. If you are able to conquer these tests while in the physical body, you make the
greatest progress spiritually.”
“The choice is yours. The choice has always been yours. You can either use your power of thought to manifest unity and harmony in your life, or you can add to the discord by allowing negative thoughts to dominate. Which is it to be? It is your decision. The way you think, not only affects your own life, but others around you; it affects your loved ones; it affects your world. You have the power to change the world you live in.”
White Star, as stated above, is a fictional character in a series of metaphysical books. The intention of making these mind, body, soul/spirit quotes available is to stimulate ideas in YOU, the reader, to help you discover your own power. The initial response to White Star quotes has been very positive and in recent times, many ezine, newsletter and magazine editors use these quotes as a supplement to their articles.
The quotes are excerpts from the new age spirituality books displayed on the web site www.1-inspirational-quote-book.com
The stories are fiction, written in an exciting and action packed format that is a medium for ideas to help bring about positive change in our world. Some view them as new age spirituality, others as simply inspirational. Regardless of personal beliefs, all have found them entertaining and enlightening. As one reader wrote “The story slowly engulfed me, drew me in until I was on my own journey, opening my mind, enticing me to read more. I ask, is this just a novel or a key to our future …?
Unlike any other books, if you take the time to read and digest these thought provoking stories, I guarantee your outlook on life will never be the same – it will certainly change for the positive. As the White Star would say “You have the power to change the world you live in!”

American Dream Dying a Slow Death
The American Dream seems in recent times to be seen as possessions people have like two cars, a house with white picket fence etc., but it is really an idea that everyone should have equal opportunities in life and everyone should be treated equally.
So in that sense the American Dream is still alive and still to be strived for: people may be loosing their homes, but largely their opportunities remain as equal as they’ve ever been.
Sure, the rich in American Society have more opportunities i.e. Ivy League education paid for and connections, but by and large the American system has good general opportunities for its citizens.
America, the USA, has a good way to go as far as healthcare is concerned: it remains one of the few countries in the western world where healthcare costs can bankrupt the family. I’m a Limey and I find this scenario un-American, surely the American ethos is to stand together and ride any storm together: a band of brothers and sisters, with everyone equal.
Now, I grew up in the UK which has a free healthcare system which is largely paid for by National Insurance. That is, everyone pays in, and if your unlucky enough to get a major illness, then the care is free (paid by National Insurance and the insurance does not run out).
My Mother had a major illness: Cancer and she received over 10 year’s worth of some of the best free treatment from the renowned Christie Hospital. The treatment was estimated to be 250,000 Pounds worth an enormous sum in the later 70’s. I’ll always be grateful to the British NHS for that care.
Now, if we had lived in the states we would have been bankrupt fairly quickly and I may not have made it to university.
I live in Australia now, and broke my ankle (being stupid) falling off a ladder last November: the ambulance ride to the hospital was free, the Accident and Emergency was free, the surgery to plate up and repair my dislocated ankle was free, The recovery in the hospital was free and they didn’t try and rush me out of the hospital. The physio and check up sessions are free.
The point I’m trying to make is that the American Dream is a kind of level playing field, where people can then pursue their dreams with equal opportunity. If you have people going bankrupt to pay medical bills then how can they or their families be on the level playing field with everyone else?
Barack Obama holds the promise of delivering a large chunk of the American Dream: Nationwide healthcare reform and I hope you recognise it for what it is…The American Dream…everyone treated equally, despite their bank balances, with no medical event or illness able to bankrupt any family.
That’s socialism: NO it’s not…that’s people standing together when one family has a crisis. The way your Medicare system is at the moment is more like the Serengeti…the law of the Jungle…no money, no treatment. Surely, in a civilised society the strong aid the weak: indeed it’s probably why mankind has been so successful. A country is judged by how well it takes care of its old and sick.
In a National Insurance type system of healthcare no one is left without healthcare. I hope you support Barrack Obama in his efforts to create a nationwide healthcare system that doesn’t leave people bankrupt: that’s the American Dream, a key part of a level playing field for everyone.
You’re a Limey what do you know about the American Dream?
You’d be surprised to learn that countries that don’t have the American Dream know what it means.
Take the UK for example, the UK was a class system for hundreds of years…
When cars came along Britain was quite happy to make Rolls Royces for the rich, but when it came to the working class, they couldn’t care less.
Then Henry Ford came along, in his mind, cars were for everyone, not just the rich.
In the American mindset, cars, fridges, washing machines, dishwashers were for everyone: the whole American system is geared for everyone. That’s why you need healthcare for everyone, with no one going bankrupt because of it.
If Barack Obama pulls off Healthcare reform it will be a major achievement: he will have placed a bedrock of the American Dream in that level playing field!
If you’re American, you should prey that the Healthcare reform happens.

Rather Be a Mistress
I would rather be a mistress than the lady of the house. In every relationship there should be a mutual benefit between the parties involved. Have you ever asked yourself about the benefits gained by those women who date married men. It’s every girl’s dream when they grow up to get married and build up a model home to be admired by many people. As these girls grow up and get exposed and interact with many people, the perception of getting married changes. It’s supplemented by another mentality and the issue of dating married men comes in.
In case this woman slips a little and gets hooked up in a relationship dating a married man, the probability is that the trend continues and it becomes very hard to wipe out that spirit of admiring married men. A habit is a disease and this is what makes the girl happy. A theory that is floated by many is that girl would prefer dating a married man because of the financial gains that she gets. It is assumed money is in the hands of married men and that explains the high affinity for the married man to the girl. Another school of thought puts it that this is the group of women who are not keen on being attached to one man, they prefer no attachments. They value their freedom more. I personally see it on a deferent angle. Married men have more experience in matters of love and dealing with women and thus any woman who has had an experience dating a married man may never date an unmarried one. Married men have a hand on experience in matters of dating and they know which batton to press to make her happy when she is not in the mood. You realize that most men have really neglected their women and they have concentrated more on their mistresses. It really hurts to see your man going out with another woman. This makes me feel that it’s better a mistress than a lady of the house.
Once you enter into marriage, you are bound to remain faithful to your spouse. I wonder what happens to most men, only one man in a million will be faithful to their women. This makes women get pissed off and they end up opting to be a mistress rather than a lady of the house. Unlike men, women get heartbroken very easily , it’s a fact that women use their heart to love while men use their mind. This is a reason that makes women get heart broken very easily and they end up getting frustrated ever. It’s for this reason that makes women feel that it’s better a mistress than a lady of the house. Your married partner has nothing to lose when the relationship hits a dead rock. After all it was only for leisure and he can get hooked up with another mistress. In a relationship its all about giving and taking. Don’t allow yourself to be fooled, be rational and be wise not to be on the losing end.

Dallas Police in Trouble Again
Imagine getting a telephone call in the middle of the night, informing you that a family member was in the hospital with only minutes to live. What would you do to be able to spend the final seconds of a loved-one’s life at their bedside? Would you do everything you possibly could to be there for a person who had been there for you throughout your entire life?
Well, that is what Houston Texans running back Ryan Moats, 26, and his wife Tamishia Moats, 27, did on the night of March 18 in the Dallas suburb of Plano, Texas as they rushed through the streets of Dallas in a desperate attempt to make it to the bedside of Tamishia’s mother, Jonetta Collinsworth, who was dying of breast cancer.
However, a time that should have been sentimental for Ryan Moats and his family turned dangerous when they were confronted and verbally assaulted in the parking lot of the Baylor Regional Medical Center in Plano by Dallas police officer Robert Powell, 25, a three-year member of the force. Alleged incidents of police brutality and abuse of power are widespread in minority communities, but this incident has outraged an entire nation. Many critics, including Moats, have wondered if this incident was racially motivated, but it is also possible that this incident was age-related, as the young officer may have overreacted in an attempt to prove his power, despite his young age.
Powell allegedly drew his weapon on Tamishia when she opened the door of their SUV. She initially pleaded with Powell to let her go see her dying mother, but when the officer refused to listen to her pleas; she entered the hospital anyway to spend the last moments with her dying mother. “He was pointing a gun at me as soon as I got out of the car,” Tamishia told The Dallas Morning News.
The Dallas police officer had been following Ryan Moats after he ran a red light in an attempt to make it to the hospital in time. Despite the traffic violation, Moats said he waited to see that there was no traffic before he ran the red light. While in the hospital parking light, the Texans running back also pleaded with Powell to let them go, saying that Powell was wasting his time.
“I can screw you over,” Powell responded at one point. Dallas police Chief David Kunkle immediately apologized to Tamishia and Ryan Moats, placing Powell on paid administrative leave on March 26. Powell has since resigned.
“When we at the command staff reviewed the tape, we were embarrassed, disappointed,” Kunkle said. “It’s hard to find the right words and still be professional in my role as the police chief. But the behavior was not appropriate.”
After hospital staff and another officer came out of the hospital to validate Ryan Moats’ story, he was ticketed and allowed to see his mother-in-law in the hospital but she had already passed away.
“(Powell’s) behavior in my opinion did not exhibit the common sense, the discretion, the compassion that we expect our officers to exhibit,” Kunkle added.
Although race may have played a role in the Ryan Moats incident, as Powell, who is White, has recently been accused of jailing former Dallas Cowboys linebacker’s wife Maritza Thomas who is Latina, for three hours and giving her five tickets (four of which were dismissed) for making an illegal U-turn, he also may have been attempting to prove that he was a powerful police officer, despite only being 25 years-old.
Often, when people in their twenties take jobs, they have the belief that they are not getting the respect they deserve from their older counterparts because of their lack of experience. Many times, young professionals will try to prove that they are someone to be respected by abusing their power and demanding that everyone knows that they are in charge. Nevertheless, that insecurity leads to incidents like the one involving Tamishia and Ryan Moats and embarrassment for Powell and his colleagues.

Texas Residents Say Racial Equality Does Not Exist
In the same year that we celebrated the historic inauguration of the nation’s first African American president and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) celebrated its 100th anniversary, the dream of racial equality in America seemed to have come true.
However, as many debate the relevance of groups such as the NAACP, instances that prove true racial equality is still a dream deferred are constantly grabbing headlines across the country.
This week, members of the New Black Panther Party, the Nation of Islam and the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) gathered in the East Texas town of Paris to voice their opinions on a judge’s decision to drop murder charges against two White males, Shannon Finley and Charles Crostley, accused of murdering their Black friend, Brandon McClelland, by running him over in a vehicle and then dragging him to his death. The case has drawn comparisons to the dragging death of James Byrd in Jasper, Texas in 1998.
Paris, Texas and its 26,000 residents are no strangers to the negative spotlight when it comes to a perceived lack of racial equality. The town, which is approximately 73 percent White and 22 percent Black, made national headlines when a Black girl was sentenced to seven years in a juvenile prison in 2007 for pushing a teacher’s aide by Lamar County Judge Chuck Superville, while the same judge sentenced a White girl to probation for burning her parents’ house down.
“Caucasians in Paris must understand that they are the reason for Paris being the center of unsavory attention,” said Jimmy Blackwell, a Black protestor. “We welcome the KKK because we want the world to see how real Americans act.”
However, many White residents of Paris sympathize with their Black counterparts. “I guess I am like most of people in Paris. The majority of people in Paris don’t agree with the way they do things. Most people are not happy about the groups, about the people who are coming,” said Marva Joe, chairperson of a diversity task force to address the perceived lack of racial equality in the town.
The charges against Finley and Crostley were dropped because of a lack of evidence and because a truck driver came forward and said he may have accidentally hit McClelland and caused his death.
Regardless of the circumstances of McClelland’s death, Small Town America has to get with the program and realize that a lack of racial equality will only lead to further conflict and controversy. In the same country where we can have enough racial equality to elect a Black president, should be proof enough that minorities in small towns across the South should receive the same treatment as their White counterparts.
Towns such as Paris, Jasper and Jena, La., will only find themselves as black sheep in a country that should be determined to move forward, not backwards, when it comes to race relations. If a country is intelligent enough to put a man on the moon, then forty years later that same country should have enough common sense to realize the importance of racial equality and the destruction that can occur if we do not come together as one.

Rosewood Massacre
The Rosewood massacre was a violent, racially endorsed dissent that took place during the first week of January 1923 in rural Levy County, Florida, United States. Six blacks and couple whites were slaughtered, and the habitation of Rosewood was fled and bargain during what was characterized as a race riot. Racial interferences were regular during the early 20th 100 in the United States, reflecting the nation’s swift social changes. Florida had an especially high diagram of lynchings in the years in the past the massacre, surrounding a well-publicized taking place in December 1922.
Rosewood was a peace, at the start black, self-sufficient whistle final view on the Seaboard Air Line Railway. Spurred by unsupported contentions that a white female in nearby Sumner had been overcame and maybe raped by a black drifter, white men from nearby habitation lynched a Rosewood resident. When black people secure themselves against further criticize, numerous hundred whites combed the scenery hunting for black population, and burned seal to every plan in Rosewood. Survivors obscured for numerous days in nearby consumes and were evacuated by train and car to enlarged towns. Although declare and provincial administrators were aware of the violence, they drafted no arrests for the wins in Rosewood. The habitation was fled by black residents during the attacks. None ever returned.
Although the rioting was widely reported round object the countryside, small proportion official itemising found the event. Survivors, their descendants, and the perpetrators stayed silent come seal Rosewood for decades. Sixty years later the rioting, the story of Rosewood was rebuilt in control media past numerous journalists swathed it in the early 1980s. Survivors and their descendants organized to sue the declare for having went erroneous to shield them. In 1993, the Florida Legislature commissioned a journal on the events. As a result of the findings, Florida became the first U.S. declare to compensate survivors and their descendants for impairs incurred because of racial violence. The massacre was the subject of a 1997 film fled accent on by John Singleton. In 2004, the declare designated the site of Rosewood as a Florida Heritage Landmark.
Rosewood was replied in 1845, nine miles (14 km) east of Cedar Key, near the Gulf of Mexico. Local industry midpoint round object timber; the call Rosewood refers to the reddish color of cut cedar wood. Two pencil mills were nearby in Cedar Key; numerous turpentine mills and a sawmill three miles (4.8 km) away in Sumner helped endorse provincial residents, as did rural of citrus and cotton. The hamlet grew enough to be labelled to the erected plan of a post office and train depot on the Florida Railroad in 1870, but it was never incorporated as a town.
Initially, Rosewood had both black and white settlers. When bulk of the cedar trees in the paddock had been cut by 1890, the pencil mills conserved, and more white residents transferred to Sumner. By 1900, the population in Rosewood had become predominantly black. The township of Sumner was predominantly white, and family members between the couple communities were relatively amicable. Two black families in Rosewood summoned Goins and Carrier were the bulk powerful. The Goins family brought the turpentine industry to the paddock, and in the years quicker the criticizes were the second utmost landowners in Levy County. To leaving lawsuits from white contenders, the Goins brothers transferred to Gainesville, and the population of Rosewood lessened slightly. The Carriers were also a more family, responsible for logging in the region. By the 1920s, seal to all in the close-knit occupants was distantly related to each other. The population of Rosewood peaked in 1915 at 355 people. Although residents of Rosewood perhaps did not vote because voter reservation conditions in Florida had expeditiously disfranchised blacks since the turn of the 100, both Sumner and Rosewood were speck of a single voting precinct was reliant by the U.S. Census. In 1920, the merged population of both habitation was 344 blacks and 294 whites.
As was regular in the late 19th 100 South, Florida had caused lawful racial segregation on the floor heading down Jim Crow laws, labelling for separate black and white public facilities and transportation.Blacks and whites written their have occupants centers: in 1920, the residents of Rosewood were substantially self-sufficient. They had three churches, a educational institution, a more Masonic Hall, a turpentine mill, a sugarcane mill, a baseball team summoned the Rosewood Stars, and couple complete outlets, one of which was white-owned. The township had come seal a dozen two-story wooden plank homes, other small two-room dwellings, and numerous small unoccupied plank farm and storage structures. Some families have pianos, organs, and other symbols of middle-class prosperity. Survivors of Rosewood remember it as a delighted place. In 1995, survivor Robie Mortin recollected at age 79, “Rosewood was a habitation where everyone’s lodging was painted. There were roses everywhere you walked. Lovely.

Selling Out
If you haven’t watched the movie I.O.U.S.A. you won’t know what I’m talking about. I have the screener on site so you can at least get the idea. The movie decries the disastrous state of the U.S. economy. In all they say, their absolutely right. The problem is in all they don’t say. In this they’re lying through their teeth. I could write an entire article on how we have been manipulated into thinking that calling a liar a liar is somehow a moral failing. Wow…what a show we’ve been involved in. In order to convince an entire population that not telling the truth is not lying? The liars have to make us believe that there is more than one truth. This isn’t accomplished overnight. The fact is it’s been going on for centuries and the system has been perfected. We have been taken from the world that exists, that we see before our eyes, and made to see something else. People look at things and see what they want. (maybe what they want is not accurate) It’s more like, see what they’re told to see. or made to see. The way this is done is by creating a population of addicts. If you tell a drug addict that “all the drugs are likely to become inaccessible because the dealers got busted” what does the drug addict do? He instantly starts thinking about where the drugs will come from. He knows that there will be drugs. He wants there to be drugs. It’s just a matter of learning how the new delivery system will work. After all, the deliverers of the drugs really want the drugs to be available so there is just an adjustment period to endure and then things will work themselves out. Never does it cross his mind that he may have to stop. This is what’s going on with the U.S. today.
We are addicted to stuff. Thing addicts. It’s not hard to turn a nation into addicts. You do it by using the natural desire of every human to be happy. That’s really all anyone wants. No person exists on this earth that does not share this common goal. The obvious question is, “If this is true, why aren’t we all happy?”. That’s where the master plan comes into play. I call it the master plan because it is the plan used by the “masters of your destiny”. I do not exaggerate. At this moment the destiny of the earth and it’s people are controlled by a few elite planners. Like any real scientific hypothesis, what I just said is disprovable. Not that it will be, but it’s not in the ridiculous unprovable ideas class. Nonsensical ideas that lately seem to be coming at us at, nothing less than, a torrential rate. So prove me wrong and I’ll write you an IOU payable in fiat reserve notes. Don’t act like you won’t take it. That’s all the world economy is doing – every waking minute. This is what the people at the IOUSA foundation are lying about.
One of the most incredible points we’re asked to accept is that, in order to recover, we need to save. Save what? We have a monetary system that’s based on debt. It’s not real. What is the current value of the dollar? It’s on a, damn near vertical, incline skyrocketing towards zero. Even that is a lie. The only way to stop it from being zero is through manipulating the amount of currency in the national/world economy. So saving a worthless, fabricated, imaginary dollar will save us? That’s one of the stupidest lies I’ve ever heard. All these guys that are involved in this video, and the website they have, are far from stupid. Well I take that back since there whole lives have been spent in the corporate capitalist fairytale and they are just as addicted as the rest of us. But they know the score where the fractional reserve scam is concerned and none of them mentions it. So they’re lying.
The “Obama group” is lying. Yes, I said it. That messiah figure giving sermons from the mount is lying through his teeth. Has he mentioned any of this? Has he said, “Well the truth is people if we don’t get rid of the cartels that run this country we can just expect more of the same. And there isn’t one single thing I can do about it…”. No? Well then he’s lying. There are only two alternatives here. One is you’re aware of things and you’re lying. Two you don’t know what’s going on so you’re stupid. Maybe I should say ignorant. Some ignorant, some stupid. I guess there is a third option. That is that it’s to awful to look at and the brain made up an alternate reality. Is that possible? Yes it is. In fact that is what I see happening in about 50% of the people I hear talking. How is this possible? Because they’re addicts. They too, are addicted to things. The very thought of losing their purchasing power sends them into an anxiety attack and the only way to make it stop is to somehow not see what’s there. We don’t want to see what’s there because we won’t get our fix. We don’t care what it costs, if it’s real, if it’s sane, just keep the drugs moving. Give me my stuff. If you say to one of these addicts, because of our addiction to things people suffer and die. You’ll hear, “Don’t believe you, can’t see it…where’s my stuff?” If we keep doing what we’re doing, as is suggested in the IOUSA’s road show, we won’t own one single thing. Not even land to live on. The only thing real about the federal reserve system is they’ve gotten laws on the books that say if anyone defaults on a loan the Government will own what you were buying. But the government is the furthest in debt. Who will really collect on the debt? The cartel that feed the governments habit. Congress is a strung out junkie. Doesn’t matter that the fed, or the IRS for that matter, is an unconstitutional organization. You agreed to it, and you will lose it. Here’s the big game over part. It is physically impossible for a fractional reserve system to create ownership in the populace that it controls. That is the whole idea. Take control of the countries money and drive the citizenry to it’s knees. Not just to the poor house, that just means you’re poor. In the end it can only create penniless indentured slaves.
The good news is, it won’t work. It won’t work because it’s a foul plan. The plan is foul because it came from fouled up brains. Brains just like ours. Brains of people who just want to be happy. It won’t work because these brilliant money lenders forgot something. The only way to maintain control over the addicted masses is to keep delivering the drug. The glitch in their plan is, in the end there is no remove the drug. See the problem? Now what are they going to use to keep them calm? The bait is gone from the game – and it’s over. Do they plan to lock us up? Do they think we will continue to serve them without reward? Why? The whole thing is working, only, because of our misinformed ideas about happiness. What’s going to happen when billions of people decide that they would be happier without masters. Plus the lies about obeying the laws will be passe. Hey, we tried that. So it will be a billion man lynch mob. There won’t be any food to feed the corporate armies because there will be no willing slaves to grow food and get it to market. Bottom line is that in the end we are in control of our destinies. If and when we choose to accept responsibility for our own happiness. Not our lives. Don’t interpret. That’s another form of lying. I said our happiness and I meant our happiness. We can discard the multitude of “You’ll be happy if” stories whenever we’ve had enough. Whenever we get fed up with being bossed around. When we get tired of being told what to do, and what we should feel, and what’s best for us, we can simply quit. It doesn’t have to turn in to an apocalyptic, end of the world, movie. It can. It will, if we keep doing what we’re doing. But it doesn’t have to. Like Nancy said, “Just say No”. Or probably more like,”What Nancy was told to say…”.

Government Wants to Tell Me What I Cannot Eat
I heard on the radio this afternoon that a city in California is passing a law barring fast food restaurants. The existing restaurants will be grandfathered but I would bet they have to change their menus. The city government is actually telling this people they are too dumb to make choices for themselves.
You have to be kidding me! Lawyers all over the land will have a field day with this. And there are some folks out there that believe the good ‘ol USA is as far away from socialism as it gets. Are they under a rock? Wake up! Wake up now!
Guess if you are nationalizing health care you have to make sure everyone eats healthy!
